I traveled during Easter, which is the high tourist season, so planning ahead was crucial.

– Buckingham Palace: As the iconic residence and administrative headquarters of the British monarch, Buckingham Palace exudes grandeur and majesty. Don’t miss the Changing of the Guard ceremony, a quintessential London experience that takes place on select days throughout the year.

This Great Bell of the clock, with its resounding chimes, resonates with the city’s rich history and heritage. Fun fact: while exploring Piccadilly Circus, you can marvel at a Lego replica of Big Ben, crafted with meticulous detail and precision.

– Piccadilly Circus: A historic landmark in London’s vibrant West End, Piccadilly Circus captivates visitors with its illuminated screens and bustling atmosphere. Dating back to 1819, this iconic square has witnessed technological advancements, with LED displays adorning its streets. Whether it’s shopping, dining, or simply soaking in the ambiance, Piccadilly Circus offers an unforgettable experience for all.

– Hard Rock Café: For a fun-filled dining experience, look no further than the Hard Rock Café. As the world’s first restaurant of its kind, it combines mouthwatering cuisine with a vibrant atmosphere. Whether you’re a music enthusiast or a foodie, a visit to the Hard Rock Café is a must during your time in London.

– Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre: Step back in time at the Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, a faithful reconstruction of the original Elizabethan playhouse. – Tower Bridge: A symbol of Victorian Gothic architecture and engineering ingenuity, Tower Bridge spans the River Thames with unparalleled grace and elegance. As a Grade I listed structure, it offers panoramic views of London’s skyline, inviting visitors to marvel at its neo-futuristic design.

– The Gherkin: Formally known as 30 St Mary Axe, The Gherkin is a commercial skyscraper that stands as a testament to modern architecture. With its distinctive design resembling a gherkin fruit, it has become an integral part of London’s skyline. Featuring energy-efficient elements, such as a double-glazing system, The Gherkin blends sustainability with aesthetic appeal.

–Abbey Road holds a special place in my heart. As I stepped onto the iconic zebra crossing, I couldn’t help but feel a surge of excitement. The very same spot where The Beatles immortalized themselves on their ‘Abbey Road’ album cover was now beneath my feet. Visitors around me recreated that iconic photo, and I joined them, feeling a connection to music history. But it wasn’t just about the crossing; it was the whole atmosphere—the studios, the legacy. Abbey Road Studios, where legends like The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and U2 recorded, stood nearby. I snapped a picture of the building.  And then there was the EarthCam, broadcasting our moment in real time to my husband in Vancouver. As I waved at the camera, I knew this was more than a tourist attraction; it was an odyssey for music lovers worldwide.” 🎵🚶‍♂️📸🌍

– Westminster Abbey: Nestled in the heart of London, Westminster Abbey is an architectural marvel steeped in history and tradition. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Westminster Abbey invites visitors to immerse themselves in its Gothic splendor and historical significance.
